Hong Kong International Business Channel (HKIBC), a 24-hour English free television channel in Hong Kong, will be officially launched on 30 July 2018 on Channel 76. HKIBC focuses on providing financial news and information with programmes in both English and Putonghua. The Channel features news on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area (Bay Area) and invites specialists from financial and political sectors to the programmes to share market insights and in-depth analysis, bringing viewers comprehensive and first-hand information in view of the market trend.
Mr Edward Yau, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Ms Winnie Tam, Chairman of the Communications Authority and Tan Sri Dato' David Chiu, Chairman of i-CABLE Communications Limited officiated at the ceremony today. Miss Cathy Chu, Director of Information Services, and distinguished guests from business and political sectors also joined the event.

Last year, our Chinese Channel was launched, offering an additional option of free television service for Hong Kong people. Last but not least, "Wealth Touch" is a financial talk show which industry experts are invited to discuss financial topics to bring out the latest market development and trends.
