(14 March, 2024 Hong Kong) HOY International Business Channel(Channel 76) has broadcasted two seasons of Friday Beyond Spotlights,a captivating and engaging English language talk show in the past years. In view of the overwhelmingly positive responses, HOY IBC is pleased to announce that Season 3 of the programme will premiere on March 15 (Friday) at 8:30pm and airing a 30-minutes episode every Friday from then on. The programme features thought leaders in Hong Kong sharing their experience and insights on new opportunities in the context of real world of business, politics,economics, culture and sports, identifying areas for win-win collaborations.

Friday Beyond Spotlights is co-hosted by Mr. Patrick Tsang On-yip, Vice-Chairman and Executive Director, i-CABLE Communications Limited, and Mr. Nick Chan Hiu-fung,Hong Kong Deputy to the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic ofChina. The first episode of Season 3 features special guest Mr. Stephon Marbury, a former NBA and CBA star player, who is also a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist. Known affectionately as “Starbury,” the two-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA team member has left an indelible mark on Chinese basketball, playing and coaching in China for the past 14 years. Winning three championships for the city of Beijing, he has been recognized with an honorary citizenship, becoming a role model for millions of Chinese aspiring basketball players and youths.

Stephon sees unrealized potential for basketball in Hong Kong. He also delves into the reasons behind basketball’s immense popularity and market expansion.
