(25 November 2022 Hong Kong) CABLE TV announced its carriage of FIBA 3x3 Basketball Competition 2022 & 2023 with exclusive broadcast rights in Hong Kong in April 2022. As Hong Kong sets to host the first year of “FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong Masters” at Victoria Park on 26 and 27 November, CABLE TV will live broadcast the most highly anticipated competitions, and live broadcast the selected exciting competitions on HOY TV (free channel 77), and Hong Kong International Business Channel (free channel 76) by “Germagic Special: FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2022 Hong Kong Masters”, to show its full support to the first international 3x3 basketball competition in Hong Kong.

3x3 basketball has grown popular around the world. It will be the official sport of Hangzhou Asian Games next year, apart from the official Olympic sport last year. Furthermore, 3x3 basketball become the first international basketball event in Hong Kong! Mr. Tommy Choy, Controller of Sports Channel, i-CABLE Sports Limited, said, “We are proud to live broadcast the first year of ‘FIBA 3x3 World Tour Hong Kong Masters’ and to be the production team of this worldwide event. It is also the first time for Hong Kong basketball team players to participate in Hong Kong Masters. To enable our audience to fully support Hong Kong teams, and promote 3x3 basketball, CABLE TV will specially deliver the live broadcasting of the whole competition on CABLE Sports (HD 601 / SD 661); and live broadcast the selected competitions on HOY TV (free channel 77), and HKIBC (free channel 76) (Please refer to the below schedule or appendix for the broadcast details of “Germagic Special: FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2022 Hong Kong Masters”). The highlight of the competition is planned at 24:30am on 26 and 27 November on HOY TV (free channel 77).
