CABLE TV is pleased to announce its acquisition of FINA Aquatics Events 2021-2024, including swimming and diving competition, for Hong Kong exclusive media rights. Starting from 16 December, CABLE TV will live broadcast the 15th FINA World Swimming Championships, bringing this international aquatic competition to our local audience.

Our Hong Kong athletes are fully equipped for the 15th FINA World Swimming Championships held in Abu Dhabi from 16 to 21 December (Hong Kong Time). There will be 16 Hong Kong swimmers participating in this remarkable competition, including Haughey Bernadette Siobhan , double Olympic silver medalist, and Au Hoi Shun, who had also participated in the Tokyo Olympic Games. To enable our viewers to support Hong Kong athletes perfectly, CABLE TV specially schedules the live broadcasting of the heats and finals every day at 1:30pm and 10pm on CABLE Sports (HD 601 / SD 661) during the event; while the simulcasting of the heats is arranged at 3pm, and the delay broadcasting of the finals is arranged at 1:30am on Hong Kong Open TV (Free Channel 77), as well as highlights of the competition is planned at 7pm on Hong Kong International Business Channel (Free Channel 76). These unique arrangements aimed to let our audience stick closely with the competition, and show their full supports towards our Hong Kong elites!

FINA comprises 209 National Member Federations in the five continents, and controls the development of aquatic events, including swimming, water polo, diving, high diving, artistic swimming and open water swimming. CABLE TV acquired the Hong Kong exclusive media rights of FINA aquatics events from 2021 to 2024, the selected swimming and diving competitions includes, FINA World Swimming Championships, World Championships, High Diving World Cup, World Junior Swimming Championships, Diving World Cup and Synchronised Swimming World Cup, enabling our audience to fully support Hong Kong athletes, and witness their every memorable moment!
