CABLE TV Secures Broadcast Rights of CONMEBOL Copa America 2021

CABLE TV is pleased to announce it has secured both online and offline broadcast rights in Hong Kong for CONMEBOL Copa America 2021, and that CABLE TV will live broadcast all 28 matches, whereas the Group's free television channel, Hong Kong Open TV (Channel 77), will carry selected matches live, enabling customers to witness the exciting moments of the tournament.


CONMEBOL Copa America 2021 is one of the most prestigious soccer events in the world. To be played in Brazil, the tournament is scheduled to take place from 14 June to 11 July 2021 (Hong Kong Time), while the 14-time champions Argentina will face Chile in the opening match on 14 June. Besides Argentina and Chile, the 8 remaining participating national teams include world football superpowers like Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, etc., fans are expected to see world's superstars like Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Neymar Jr. and James Rodriguez, battling in the football pitch for their countries.
